In this role you will play a pivotal part in driving commercial success and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the organization. Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, including agency partners, you will be responsible for the strategic development and management of new and existing initiatives aimed at boosting organic traffic, conversion rates, revenue, and overall profitability within the SEO program.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to leverage data to communicate the story of SEO effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Devise and take ownership of the AU SEO strategy to achieve commercial success and meet channel KPIs.
- Drive growth in organic traffic, conversion rates, revenue, and profitability through strategic initiative management.
- Lead the end-to-end SEO content strategy, overseeing content rollout from ideation to validation, go-live, and reporting, aligning with an established content framework.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to leverage data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, AHREFS, and other tools to inform and recommend SEO strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and report performance insights, focusing on commercial KPIs.
- Provide strategic recommendations and execute content development aligned with SEO goals, brand guidelines, and target audience.
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, adhering to best practices to improve performance and user experience.
- Define and execute the technical SEO roadmap, communicating plans clearly to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular technical audits and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless implementation of updates.
- Collaborate with global teams, manage agency partners, and work closely with WebDev for successful content production and SEO initiatives.
Requirements:
- 4-8 years of experience in organic search marketing and owned media, preferably with experience in financial services/accounting vertical.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4 preferred), Adobe Audience Manager, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems, end-to-end content production, and editorial processes.
- Basic understanding of Technical SEO concepts, including site architecture, load speed, canonicalization, schema markup, and more.
- Ability to translate ideas into actionable strategies, execute test plans, and deliver exceptional results.
- Flexibility to adapt, learn, and acquire new skills, with the potential for certifications.
- Strong data-driven communication skills to present insights and explanations to stakeholders.
- Understanding of UX principles and collaboration with WebDev/CRO team for conversion optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and industry trends.
- Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
- Effective stakeholder management and collaborative approach across all organizational levels.
