Randstad Defence is looking for experienced Guided Weapons Systems Engineers to work on the various stages of the project lifecycle, for either the Joint, Land, Maritime, and Aerospace Systems Divisions of CASG. As a Guided Weapons Systems Engineer, you will build and maintain stakeholder relationships, to develop weapons acquisitions and weapons integration plans to support various defence projects.
The roles are based in Canberra. These are secure long-term contract positions with some contracts up to 3 years in duration.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop weapon acquisition plans, using knowledge of CASG capability lifecycle policies and procedures.
- Plan, prepare and develop weapon integration activities for various platforms.
- Review and update engineering reports, trial/test plans to support project engineering activities such as financial and risk management of the projects.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for development of future capabilities such as Pre-Gate 0 advice, and provide input into documentation for Gate 1 and 2 of the project.
- Support in preparation of technical aspects of tender and contracts.
- Prepare safety templates, hazard analyses and reports on management of Guided Weapons.
About you:
- A degree in Engineering (Systems/Mechanical/Electrical) or similar qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar field.
- Awareness of the CASG engineering processes.
- Ability to develop systems engineering requirements for Guided Weapons.
- Be familiar with drafting engineering management plans and documents related to Guided Weapons.
- Have excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
The candidate must be an Australian citizen and hold a minimum of NV1 security clearance
