HR Partners are excited to be partnering with the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Services for the recruitment of an experienced Return To Work Coordinator. Reporting to the Employment Relations Manager you will ensure the provision the safe and effective returns to work plans for injured MFS workers in accordance to the Work Act and government performance standards.

Key areas of responsibility include but not limited to:
- Developing and applying appropriate return to work plans and strategies ensuring that an appropriate recovery milestones are achieved within required constraints or restrictions
- Managing complex return to work processes in liaison with the injured worker and strategic partners including senior managers, line managers, medical practitioners/specialists, claims management staff, unions and/or legal representatives, to ensure that personnel are allocated appropriate, safe and sustainable alternative duties.
- Arranging work site assessments and following up recommendations to ensure employer and employee compliance with implemented restrictions where applicable.
- Facilitating resolution of complex cases by coordinating, attending and actively contributing to multi-disciplinary case conferences.
What do I need for the role?
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in the return to work, behavioural science or demonstrated experience in a relevant field.
- Return to Work Coordination Accreditation.
