You will lead and manage a variety of civil projects whilst working closely with the Supervisors, Operations Manager, and other Project Managers. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by meeting program deliverables, targets and key project milestones.
- Efficiently procure materials/supplies and subcontractors in line with the purchasing procedures of the organisation
- Lead by example by setting a high standard of Work Health and Safety practices on site and implementing company policy and procedures
- Liaise with clients and effectively meet client requirements around progress claims, EOT’s and RFI’s
- Subcontractor management – ensure that all Subcontractors are logged and issued for work
The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will have working knowledge across a wide variety of civil construction works including bulk earthworks, subdivisions, roadworks, and services. With a civil construction background and experience delivering a range of projects, you will ideally be comfortable delivering projects valued from $4M - $20M. You will be a confident and clear communicator and negotiator, with the ability to establish and maintain strong industry relationships. As Project Manager, you will demonstrate the ability to create, read and interpret Construction Programmes and work to programmes. It is essential the candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience in WA.
