Our client is a global fortune 500 company with a local specialisation in manufacturing, testing and implementation of safety systems for mining environments.
We are looking for multiple Electrical Production Assemblers to manufacture, program and test electrical devices, using drawings and assembly procedures to ensure compliance for hazardous areas.
Successful applicants will be offered a 6 month contract direct with our client that is anticipated to extend anywhere from minimum 12 months to an ongoing basis. If you have experience or an interest in electronics and a keen eye for detail, then we want to hear from you!
... What's involved?
- Manufacture, program and test electrical devices
- Read drawings and assembly procedures
- Use of hand and power tools including soldering to manufacture cable harnesses, connectors, PCBs and numerous field devices
What are we looking for?
- Confidence with hand tools and mechanical aptitude
- High attention to detail and ability to focus
- Experience or an interest in electronics
- Willing and able to perform repetitive tasks
- Previous experience in a production / assembly environment highly regarded but not necessary
- Have reliable transport
- Excellent work references that can support your application
