As Clarke Energy enters a period of significant growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Warehousing Supervisor for their brand new warehouse based in West Thebarton to oversee the planning, receiving, picking, and distribution of equipment, parts and associated service as required to support customer base in the South Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Manage the warehouse team
- Overseeing a high volume of goods inwards and outwards, Generators, spare parts and various project (EPC) based deliveries
- Monitor accurate picking of daily orders for deliveries and pick-ups to ensure 100% accuracy
- Regular communication with Supply Chain and EPC (projects) team
- Ensure efficient space utilisation within the warehouse
- Maintaining inventory and stock control
- Regular stock takes through cycle counting
- Manage packaging of warranty and supplier parts returns, as needed
- Ensuring warehouse processes are documented and procedures enforced
- Assistance in all aspects of warehouse activities as needed
- Follow and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and regulations at all times.
What you will need to succeed:
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse and operations experience in a supervisory role
- Valid Forklift license
- Intermediate proficiency in word, excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Previous experience with an ERP system preferred
- Good communication skills and “can do attitude
- Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand data to determine performance and actions including KPIs and financial targets
