About the Role
A well established government entity is looking at appointing a Seasoned Infrastructure Analyst with over 5 years experience.The Infrastructure Analyst role is to support the Business by providing the State Government network, cloud and security technical inputs; be able to provide the Government entity relevant documentation and provide the necessary information to suppliers.
Responsibilities include
- Coordinate and facilitate collaboration and communications with internal ICT delivery teams, stakeholders, Suppliers to support the design of technical security solutions for cloud deployments, networks, technical security components ( firewalls, WAF, etc)
- Provide the State Government network, cloud and security technical inputs, together with relevant documentation to Suppliers for the development, evaluation and deployment of highly available and resilient cloud and network infrastructure.
- You are responsible for finding and fixing problems within the organisation’s computer network. As an infrastructure analyst, your job duties include monitoring and assessing the systems and finding areas that need upgrading or improvement.
- You also focus on handling system emergencies, such as network communications errors, storage problems, and malfunctioning server platforms, to get the network working again as quickly as possible.
What you will need to succeed
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Networking landscape and requirement in South Australian Government and Justice agency sector
- Knowledge of Statenet, Conditions of Connection, Technical Architecture and security guiding principles
- Coordinate the technical and security assessment evaluation and risk assessment relating to deployment of application, cloud and network infrastructure
- Gap analysis and suggest solution inputs to Suppliers deploying cloud solutions
- Understanding on Network and Platform monitoring approaches and tools
- Understanding of Azure Cloud services architecture
- Understanding the process of undertaking and coordinating security and related risk analysis
