APS5 - Information Technology Officer
Location: Hobart
6 months fixed term contract with the likelihood to extend
Salary: $81,000 - $88,000 per year + super
Full time hours
Since it is an opportunity with a Federal Governement Department, it is a requirement for the candidates to be an Australian Citizen.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, co-ordinating and undertaking quality assurance and testing activities
- Developing change management, communication and training materials
- Developing processes, procedures and system instructions
- Delivering communication and training to colleagues across the Division
- Undertake business analysis activities and work with key stakeholders on the design and development of solutions to meet the business needs, including:
- Assessing the impact of potential changes to the business (processes, IT systems, policies and procedures, reporting)
- Developing business requirements, system requirements and processes
- Assist in developing system test scenarios, test scripts and conducting acceptance testing
- Resolving process, system and reporting issues
...Requirements:
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills, sound judgement and ability to think strategically, logically and systematically.
- Strong self-management, organisation and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines within a dynamic team environment.
- Ability to bring a user centred mindset to design and development activities.
- Experience in project management methodologies
- Experience or knowledge in release management
- Experience or knowledge in System testing and acceptance testing
- Experience or knowledge in business analysis techniques
