In this role you will use your fault finding skills and your general maintenance experience to ensure that our automated processing and packaging equipment is operating efficiently. Duties include:
- Preventative maintenance and routine adjustments
- Troubleshooting and rectifying breakdowns
- General workshop repairs
Core hours: 7:30am-4:15pm Monday to Thursday, with Friday having a 2:15pm finish.
The role may require shift work and overtime across day / afternoon and night shifts, as well as weekend work, if required.
What you need
Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a food manufacturing environment. You will need to be safety focused, physically fit and able to complete manual tasks.
- FMCG manufacturing experience
- Fault finding skills with automated packaging machinery, mixers, extruders and ovens
- Experience working with pneumatic systems and boilers
- Experience with conveyors, chain drives, gearboxes and motors
- Experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdowns
- A Restricted Electrical licence would be ideal but is not essential
